Location & Fees

Where are the mediation sessions held?

The mediation sessions would be held within the office of the professional involved in your case whose offices are located across the area including:

  • Reading
  • Wokingham
  • Newbury/Thatcham
  • Henley/South Oxfordshire
  • Farnham/Surrey
  • Farnborough

In addition, MIAMs can take place at a more informal venue close to your home or place of work within the Thames Valley.

Fees

We offer Mediation Information Assessment Meetings (MIAMs). This usually takes the form of one mediation meeting (individually or jointly) where you will discuss the benefits of mediation.

We can offer both sole mediation and co-mediation. We will discuss with couples the appropriate model for them.

Our fees are:

  • Mediation information and assessment meetings (MIAMS)  will be confirmed by the mediator.
  • All issues mediation – fees will be confirmed by the mediator and are based on an hourly rate. There will be additional charges for co-mediation. Sessions usually last 1½ hours.
  • An additional charge is made for preparation of interim or final documents. The mediator will confirm the hourly rate and you will be given an estimate of the likely overall cost before the documents are prepared.

The mediator will confirm and request for a payment either on account and/or at the end of each mediation session and payment for documents in advance.
